The “lightweight” brake pads aren’t a huge problem for 98% of Tesla owners, but I hope that the performance models get heavy duty pads that can stand up to a track day, or two. It wouldn’t hurt for the heavy duty pads to be add ons that fit the non-performance Tesla’s, as well.

Haha, That was bad comprehension on my part… I apologize for that error. I am certainly happy that my neighbors will not all have the same car as me, and I hope you are right that Tesla Model 3 crushing the I-Pace, that is part of buying a luxury product is having a bit of exclusivity. Like my wife with her Hermes bags, she always buys the very limited production models just for that very reason. ~
