In addition to plugging into the MPE network, the goal of the JWA was to provide a common operating picture, known as COP, to commanders at all echelons. This was a goal that was attempted but not reached in previous Army Warfighting Assessments, or AWA.
All water bottles are not the same — and this one is proof. The 20-ounce stainless steel bottle has vacuum insulation that keeps beverages cold for 12 hours and the leak-proof lid easily pops open to reveal a convenient straw. The bottle comes in four colors, and the lid is dishwasher-friendly.
Before I get into it, I should describe the perspective I am approaching this from. I’m a portly fella: 6 feet tall and 240 pounds heavy. The weight capacity of the Vert chair is 250 pounds. So, I am kind of pushing the limits, but I still found it comfortable. I was able to sit for hours on end without getting antsy and didn’t experience arm or shoulder soreness as I have with other chairs. As a writer with perhaps a little too much on my plate, I spent several eight-hour-plus days glued to the seat as I scrambled to hit deadlines.
Warranty: Most gaming chairs don’t come cheap, so check to see what a company’s warranty policies are. If a chair comes with a money-back guarantee or warranty, see what’s covered for defects. Some models don’t come with warranties, and if that’s the case, factor in how much more you’ll be spending if the chair needs to be repaired or replaced.
From I know all leafs have an overheating problem with the batteries that reduces his life. A car from 2011 is likely to have 73% when a Tesla keeps his longeti to 90% Nissan is aware of the problem, it is a question of cost and the last model won’t solve the problem.
Yeah, GM is really a mixed bag. On the one hand they’re arguably in the top 2 in terms of EV tech (and you can argue number 1 either way with Tesla). But on the other hand they’re not really pushing the tech at all. Just giving Europe and Canada what they want would easily double, if not triple current production.
The G502 Proteus Spectrum mouse is one of the gems in the ever growing Logitech portfolio. Despite being promoted as suitable mainly for FPS, it is actually quite versatile. The sufficient number of buttons (11, to be precise) makes it a good pick for a gift for MMO fans.
Every life has a soundtrack… Colin Devlin’s "Democracy of One" is not a debut, it’s our reintroduction to an Irish songwriter who has crafted unforgettable soundscapes for over a decade. Led by Colin Devlin and his brother Peter, The Devlins refined their cinematic rock sound via a series of internationally-acclaimed albums that generated tracks used in dozens of film and television productions ranging from HBO’s ‘Six Feet Under’ to ‘Batman Forever’ and ‘Closer’. Their 1993 debut "Drift" received a four-star review in Rolling Stone, and subsequent efforts won praise worldwide. Now, singer Colin Devlin strikes out on his own with a warm, intimate album of personal reflections helmed by Pierre Marchand (Sarah McLachlan, Rufus Wainwright) and featuring drummer Matt Chamberlain (Tori Amos, Morrisey, Kanye West), with assists from Tom Sokolof, Fred Bouchard, Emm Gryner and Lloyd Cole. While The Devlins’ athmospheric grooves consistently transcended both genre and era, "Democracy of One" takes Colin Devlin’s reputation for erudite simplicity to another level. Devlin’s new songs expore the language of a seasoned songwriter both lyrically and sonically: lush arrangements play… (read more)

Bluetooth is buggy because there’s a million ways to implement it and nearly impossible to test that device combinations work well together. It’s very easy to make two specific devices that function together, because you control how both behave. What’s hard is making a device that world well with every other device including future ones.
“Homes tell stories,” as Haydel likes to say, and he often opens a front door and sees the story—including the occasional plot twist—waiting to be told. When Haydel stepped over the threshold of a 1980s North Andover house to assess a redesign of the first floor’s main rooms, he took in a lot, including its odd floor plan. “Like many 1980s homes, there were these weird measurements,” he recalls. Flow was interrupted by underused spaces, such as the dining room, which the architecture decreed would be a formal space. “The family didn’t want it so formal,” Haydel says. “This is a young family with kids. The dining room was becoming a place to dump things.” In the meantime, the formal living room “had turned into a gym” covered in blue tumbling mats in constant use by the couple’s three children. The furniture was oversized. “I remember cringing a bit, thinking, ‘You’ve got to do more,’” he says, with a light laugh. But what really grabbed Haydel was the antique China Tang dynasty horse by the fireplace. “It was really interesting; that this started the conversation,” he says. “The homeowner said it should go to the basement.” But Haydel saw a lot of history and emotional value in the little horse. He decided they would build on it. Today the house rings with a modern, easy mood threaded with historical perspective, using subtle designs sometimes repeated for cohesion. A lovely oriental lattice pattern, for instance, appears in the Nina Campbell wallpaper on the walls of the adjacent first-floor office and in the Clarence House pillows on the plush blue Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams living room sofa. “We pulled that reference again and again,” Haydel says of the lattice design. The sleeper sofa, besides being a clear focal point, serves an important purpose, allowing the homeowners to accommodate an older family member who sometimes needs help. “We needed to have something that’s beautiful enough to anchor the room, but that will also function properly,” he says. “It made the space function really well.” (The tumbling mats disappeared into the basement, where the kids are quite happy with them.) Blue, whether an organic ocean shade or an electric eye-popper, is a strong preference of Haydel and his staff. “I like to start with blue,” he says. “It’s a vast array of color.” The color adds spark throughout the living room, appearing in the carpet, the swivel chairs, and the blueberry blue coffee table. (The minute the coffee table was placed, Haydel says, the youngest child jumped on it.)
